Multimap has a large range of services to offer. Obviously the main attraction is it’s large map database. Maps can be viewed two ways. One way is the normal map view with detailed roads, place names, etc. Or your can view the maps using with an aerial photo overlay. Searching for destinations is easy. Either put in the place name or the postcode. You can also use Multimap to find hotels and travel directions using the route planner. All maps can include extra detail such holiday cottages, restaurants.

RAC Route Planner

The RAC’s site has a great route planner. It also plots hotels near any of your routes. RAC also offers all other car related services such as Breakdown Cover, Car Buying, Car Care, Training and Legal Services to name but a few.

AA Route Planner

The AA provide a route planner as well, which has a much simpler interface. You can choose from options such as: avoiding motorways, ideal caravan routes, avoid toll roads and congestion charges.
