This is the official site for the UK Met Office. This site has a whole lot more than the avergage weather site out there. It has everything you could possibly want. It has the UK forecasts and guides, UK weather warnings, Global weather forecasts. You can also check rainfall, past weather, cyclones, satellite maps, climate changes and seasonal forecasts. The Met Office site also includes advanced services such as mobile text forecasts, weathercall, marinecall, mountain weather, monthly outlook and you even talk to a forecaster!

This site is amazingly in-depth. You can find out the whole lot such as reports for each part of the UK, including local forecasts your area. Metcheck also includes a useful 6hr forecast. The site is also used by weather forecasting professionals and even Michael Fish is soon to start helping the Metcheck Team. Premium features includes local rainfall totals in your area real-time, long range weather reports, see expected rainfall/temperatures/pressures/cloud cover and GFS live.

Environment Agency's Flood Warning

With the recent climate changes it's always a good idea to keep an eye on the flood warnings, especially if you live in a high risk area. The flood warning status is updated every 15 minutes.
